A Gainesville couple were arrested Tuesday afternoon on child neglect charges because investigators found mold, insects and tall piles of clothing throughout their home in mid-May.

Courtney Hammond Jones, 36, and his wife, Rachel Tokoly Jones, 34, were each charged with three counts of child neglect as a result of an investigation by the Florida Department of Children and Families and the Gainesville Police Department. The family's home is in the 3600 block of Northwest 21st Drive. The children involved are girls ages 4 and 2 and a 6-month-old boy.
